In all of their medical centres, hospitals, dental clinics, sports centres, and residential homes across Finland, Pihlajalinna offers high-quality social, health, and well-being services aimed at improving the overall quality of life for Finnish people by keeping them healthy.

In 2019, Pihlajalinna’s turnover was 518.6 million euros, employing almost 6000 people. Pihlajalinna joined the main list in Helsinki’s stock exchange in June 2015. 

The Pihlajalinna group has grown strongly over the last few years. Part of this growth has involved a process of reorganisation in which Alder & Sound have helped by providing due diligence services. As Joni Aaltonen, the CEO of Pihlajalinna, puts it: “We were looking for an agile and practical help with producing economic reports surrounding due diligence inspections, and Alder & Sound proved to have that business agility”. Since then, Pihlajalinna have also used A&S for transfer pricing and tax assignments.

Aaltonen particularly appreciates the high level of service that A&S have provided, and he sees them as being partners that are at once reliable and flexible:

There haven’t been any surprises. If any risks have been taken, they were taken with consideration. Often business reorganization happens at quite a pace, but A&S matched this without a problem, and we were able to start the process equally swiftly.
